2.3 ARKit & TrueDepth API Usage

Our app uses Apple’s ARKit framework for two types of AR tracking:

Face Tracking (front camera / TrueDepth API):
We use the TrueDepth API solely to determine the position and orientation of the user’s face in real time, for the purpose of aligning AR filters and digital effects. We do not use or need blend shape values, raw facial images, or depth maps. This information is processed on-device in real time and is not saved or transmitted.

• No face data is saved, transmitted, or stored.

• No data is shared with third parties.

• Data is not used for identification, authentication, advertising, or profiling.

Surface/Plane Tracking (rear camera):

 We use ARKit’s standard world tracking with the rear camera to detect flat surfaces (e.g., floors or tables) so users can place AR objects in their environment. This feature does not use the TrueDepth API, and no personal or biometric data is collected, stored, or shared.

3. Permissions

The app requires the following permissions to function properly:

• Camera: Necessary for AR features that overlay digital content on your environment.
  

• Gallery (Photo/Video Access): Required if you choose to record or save AR scenes to your device.
  

All media captured is stored locally on your device and not uploaded or shared externally.
